it was amazing
Read from April 14 to 16, 2012

This book was fantastic. Just what I needed right now.

A great female voice? Check.

Swoony boy(s)? Check.

Awesome best friends? Check.

Plot twisting storyline? Check.

Angst, but with a Happily Ever After? Check.

Right from the get-go this book sucked me in. I loved Rosaline's voice. She was extremely relatable, and you felt like you were her best friend right away. I knew this book was based on Romeo and Juliet, but from a different perspective. I braced myself for all the events that were about to happen, but it didn't hurt any less.

I immediately fell for Rob, so when he left Rosaline high and dry for Juliet, it really stung. Seeing Rosaline's point of view in all the events that happened, really made me think differently about the story Romeo and Juliet. it was painful for many different reasons, but there was also a lot of hope that came from the events.

This book made me feel SO many things in one sitting. I was creepy smiling over swoony boys. I had heartburn over heartbreak. I laughed at the silly girlfriends. I cried at the tragedy. I smiled, and had a full heart with the wonderful, hopeful ending. This is one I will reread in the future!
