I just love Mary Higgins Clark novels. They are so easy and entertaining. This particular novel was great! I loved that it incorporated some ancient history. I did think there were a few too many characters. I think it would have been best to limit Jonathan Lyons group of friends to 3 instead of 5. Trying to keep all the characters' jobs, roles, etc in order, at times, was a bit difficult. Overall, this is was great novel to take on vacation, the beach, or to cozy up with on a rainy weekend.

Perri I am only just starting it but so far I find it kind of annoying. It just seems to go to fast and to not take its time when it should. I also don't like how everyone seems to know what is going in except Mariah. If I were her I would be more pissed off at the mistress and would probably have smacked her if she ever came to my fathers funeral. For god loving people they seem perfectly okay with letting Jon get away with adultery, especially when his wife is so sick.

Melissa This was definitely not one of her better novels. See you tomorrow night.
