This reminded me very much of Mindy Kaling's book in the sense that the first half of it seemed far more fleshed out - like just the years having gone by gave her a bit of distance and she was able to be a bit funnier and more thoughtful about an experience. However, the second half of recent years was still more fleshed out than the second half of Mindy's book. But there still felt like something was missing. The chapters were so short towards the end. I guess if I could sum it up I'd say the first half was "Here is something funny that happened in my youth and what it says about me as a person and how this became a bigger part of my life as a whole." and the second half was "Let me tell you this funny thing about babies or a long distance relationship."

That being said, it was a fun book and Rachel seems like someone I'd want to be friends with.
