the book is beautifully woven into a tale of truth.
i was going to write a summary for my English class and i happened upon a quote that made me think about religion. (i'm a to be christian)

"There are no gods, Gwyn. No ghosts, no spirits. nothing but our own fears and hopes. Gods are tales for children. They're tricks we play upon ourselves, to make it seem there's some sense in our lives."
-Myrddin the Bard

this struck me as true, because after all back in ancient times people had no explanation for certain things, so therefore gods are made to make that role for saying "yes, god created this world as well as me." it makes me ponder... "WHY THE EFF DID PHILIP REEVE NOT PUT THIS INTO HIS QUOTES?!
