Moira Russell Ha, great title!

Margaret It's actually two short novels, but yeah, love the titles. (For a long time I thought it was _The Semi-Attached Couple *in* the Semi-Detached House_, until I actually found a copy.)

It sounds like that is the title, yes!

Margaret I was just reading Eden's bio in the front matter and found out an interesting tidbit: after Caro Lamb died, Lord Melbourne's sister tried to arrange a marriage between him and Emily Eden (who was a well-known Whig hostess for her brother George). They didn't get married, as it happens, but she became Melbourne's "close friend and confidant".

Moira Russell Oh, wow, that's fascinating (I do love Caro).
