If you want to get real help in starting a business that can build off your natural talents, tools like The Unique Genious by Aaron Ross are way better. They provide specific success examples of all different kinds of businesses (not MLM) that tie into what you are actually good at and what you enjoy. I'm sure there are also a ton of other good books and tools that provide real and specific advice - but this book by Larry Winters is not one of them.

Bingley In one sense you are correct in saying that MLM and traditional businesses are not the same. But it ss to me that you just one-starred this book because you were down on the MLM business model. Hey, if you have beef with MLM-style businesses than that's understandable. But from reading this book, Mr. Winters, I believe tried to be as satellite view as possible and outline success principles. Just because he achieved his own personal business success via Amway Corporation doesn't mean you have to, but the success principles of helping others, giving, leadership, and determination are universal and apply to any business venture and to life. If you want to hate on Amway or MLM do it openly on some hate-site, but don't judge a book by it's author's job.

Knows Lol. Shouldn't you be out in a grocery store or bookstore, striking up a conversation with a complete stranger and inviting them to your local Quixtar/Amyway meeting? Keep drinking that MLM koolaid, and keep telling yourself that it will work one day. Very sad.

*Edited for typo.

Bingley Posted something in response to your ad hominem remarks and promptly removed it. Is there really sense in dialogue with someone who makes trite remarks about someone they don't even know?

Knows You are right. It doesn't make any sense to do that... exactly like MLM.

Joshua Carpenter You guys are silly, it's either for you, or it's not. Amway is a legitimate business opportunity backed by the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/western-michigan/b...) Also, here's real facts: 1) Amway is listed on Forbes.com as the #28 largest privately held company. (http://www.forbes.com/lists/2011/21/p...) 2) Amway was just named #1 Health & Beauty in Online Sales for the Ninth Consecutive Year. (http://news.amway.com/2012-06-26-Amwa...) 3) It's not for everyone...so, if it's not for you, don't bash a good thing. If it is for you, I'd be glad to inform you of the opportunity. 4) This book is really good, by the way. 5) You can't deny facts, so, please don't comment as an intelligent human being, just to debate.
