really liked it
bookshelves: circus-books, fiction
Read from March 25 to 27, 2012

Oh, boy, is this a fascinating book. Do not read this if you have delicate sensibilities. It's full of good old fashioned cussin', circus folk, sex, filth, violence, and a whole lot more. But at its core, it's about a family...a family not at all like yours or mine. I don't really have the right vocabulary handy to describe this book, but it's a great and unusual read.

Amy looks ridiculous...and awesome!

Anna Be warned -- it's pretty messed up. It's not a very happy story at all. But it IS really good!

Amy Thank you for the warning. I sure do appreciate it. You're a swell gal. (Sorry I think bootlegger Jack Flynn may have momentarily taken control of my mind)

Anna I'm a real classy dame, what can I say? Also, I do own this, so if you want to hold off you can borrow it. Otherwise, enjoy!

Amy Nope. Definitely save it for me. I would love to read your copy. It's just so much more personal.

Anna I'm so turned on right now. Maybe I will leave you a secret message hidden amongst the pages...

Amy Please do. It would make the book that much more exciting.

Kate Damn, I want in!

Anna OKAY. Seeing as Amy is en France, I will allow you to borrow it first. Now, where are those post-its?
