A refreshing take on the standard quest fantasy, with new ideas on how magic and technology rule over life, and how dead the dead really are when they fall. Easy to read, quirky, and hits quite a few dramatic notes just right.

Bahia I'm abut halfway through and while I love the world and the idea of it, I'm not being sucked in too much. I'm finding the language a bit overly descriptive so far, but I will be seeing it through to the end.
