I was actually pretty disappointed with this book. My expectations were pretty high after hearing some good things, but it just didn't deliver. It had some interesting points, but overall came across as very dry and kinda boring. Most of the key concepts are pretty intuitive and the innumerable examples get old after a while.

In my opinion, the author seems a little too confident regarding his data collection and data analysis methods. Defining a company as either "good" or "great" isn't as simple as measuring "sustained earnings" or any other single variable. It's too subjective and the author's assertion that he's figured out a way to objectively assess "greatness" didn't convince me.

Basically the last 50 pages were just about finishing the book, which is never a good sign.
