it was amazing
Read in August, 2010 — I own a copy

This book is very simple, but it's great in its simplicity. The plot is well thought out, the two main characters are well rounded. Basically the book is a great quick read that will leave a smile on your face. You can't guess what's going to happen next, but there now big shockers. It's a great book to read over again. Plus the guy when described is very good-looking( HOT!!!!). =) This book has great writing, some of the scenes you can't help but laugh at.

Here are a few scenes:
He gave her a puzzled frown." You speak most strangely, mistress"
"Really," she said, eyeing him. "So do you." He had spoken English. But not like Tessa had ever heard before. His voice was deep, with a strange accent. Not exactly British, not exactly French. Mostly Hugh Grant with a little Pepe Le Pew thrown in.
That did it. She was gone. Completely psycho.

"You jumped on it," he repeated. He pushed his long fingers through his hair. "Are you mad?"
"I'll say. My room is trashed."
Will narrowed his eyes to regard her and then shook his head exasperated. "Did the thought of running away never strike you?"
"Oh, it struck," Tessa replied. "But see, there was this SNAKE in the way." she did her best to drip sarcasm.
"Oh," he said grudgingly.
