Read from April 02 to 03, 2012

Although I am not sure yet how many stars I will give this book, I am enjoying the reading of it. Vannetta Chapman develops her characters gradually while moving the plot along at a fast pace. I'm a little over half way through at this point. More later when I finish.

And I have finished and I loved every page. The characters are believable, although it was hard to relate to Reuben's refusal to cooperate with his attorney when he was unjustly accused of murder. In the end it was more understandable. Callie,Shane, Deborah, Esther are all such likable people - one wants to know them personally. The only thing I have left to say now is that I surely hope there is another book in the works. I have to know if Callie and Shane finally get together, about Esther's baby, Deborah's experience at the museum in Chicago, and whether Reuben and Samuel find happiness eventually. Vanettta, are you going to give your readers another book??? Please????
