This is one of the best Architecture books I've read. Even better, it is a great book to hand out to friends and clients to give them a quick introduction to architecture and architects. Each item is described in a few sentences and a quick sketch - everything is simple and straightforward. Elements learned include graphic techniques, building features, quotes, and design process descriptions. Everything here truly hits home and I found myself smiling a lot due to the familiarity of the concepts. Anyone who knows an architect should read this book to obtain a basic understanding of how architects work and think.
