Read from March 23 to April 10, 2012

I enjoyed this book despite the fact that the pace seemed to drag particularly towards the end. The waves of corruption eventually just seem to merge into a kind of chaos. I was particularly struck by how laissez faire life and society was back then and how intolerant people seem today.
