    <body><![CDATA[The excellent reviews from critics and friends have made this a to-read. It was loaned to me by someone who will soon want it back, so I better get started now.<br/><br/>Okay, this is the first non-fiction book I've read recently that I really, really enjoyed. It wasn't LOL funny as some have promised but it was definitely very engaging and sardonic while still managing to be sensitive at the same time. I am looking forward to reading more of Roach's work, especially her essays at Salon.]]></body>
