Fun, light and enjoyable. Convenient to have the Sookie short stories collected in one volume. The problem for me is that, even though the author explicitly states where in the Sookie-timeline each story occurs, it is a bit disorienting (doesn't help that it has been a while since I read the main series and I've only read each book once) to determine what Sookie knows or doesn't know.
