Passion and Purity taught me a lot about love. The book is one that can be insightful to a teenager, or an adult. Its more aimed towards women, but I'd say its knowledgeable for both genders. Elisabeth Elliot shares her experience in college of struggling between becoming a missionary and the desire to get married. Throughout the book, which are her journal entries from college compiled together, she shares incredible understanding on what a Godly women should look like, what dating should look like and what marriage should look like. In a society where many couples arent dating with the serious intent of marriage, Elisabeth Elliot gives the facts. I learned a lot about what love is and what love isnt from this book. It was enjoyably intelligent while also gripping.
