it was amazing

This is a second Book of the Tales of Foster High Series.
It is told from Brad's point of view, Kyle's sweetheart.
Have you ever wondered how this story looks like from both sides? What is Brad's game, what's he thinking and what's he dealing with? This book is an excellent opportunity to find it out.
Brad's journey is different from Kyle's. For a popular kid to be outed to the whole school and community of a small town where the gossip rules - is not an easy deal too. You may think that confident jock has no fear? You are totally wrong. He is as vulnerable and insecure as any other teen. He is the one who battles his inner turmoil in the name of finding his true self. It takes a lot of guts to come to realization who you really are, face your own insecurities and learn what it means to fall in love.
Brad comes from a disturbing household with the dysfunctional parents where one is an abusive sob and the other one is simply turning the blind eye on the whole situation. How's that for you? Sounds horrible or painfully familiar? Do you see a way out of it for a teenager? Can you escape such horrible existence? How do you think the kid will turn out? There are lots of questions that you face while reading the book. You just keep wondering how would you have dealt with it.
Yes, Brad is not without flaws. But the most important thing is that he does not give up, he does not succumb to the situation and he does not choose an easy way out. He fights and that is what so precious and admirable about him.
I love this story and its development and I can hardly wait for the next book to come out. John Goode is a talented artist. Don't miss out on his insightful books, I recommend them to all.
