This was the third book I've read of Cronin's and I feel like I am getting to know the characters used thorughout the stories. For example, I now know that Duck is quite michievous and creates a great story to be told. I really like how Cronin gives the animals the ability to communicate through written word. It is an interesting spin on simply talking animals. I loved the play on words with the movie title when it said the animals were watching, "the Sound of Moosic." I also thought that the illustrations were great and in many of them you could really tell the emotions of the animals by their facial expressions.
