The lyrics of this song are beautiful and reverential, so the book is half-way there when you start. The paintings are very nicely done, (I was quite taken by the bluebirds) but they are hard to emerge into and don't capture the majesty or the miracle that the words are inviting. You can't go wrong by sharing it with your children, but the magic isn't there.
