Vet's Desire shows how a man has power over his own heart, but does have the power over what to do once his heart shows him who is right for him.

Tim Clarke is cynical and rich. His mother always told him he was not good enough, somehow being a veterinarian was not as a doctor, and so he has always gone for the hard edged women that way No'One was hurt when he walks way the next morning. History has taught him that mostly they want him for his mother's money and his last name.

Cindy Lawson is a plus size heroine that has heat of gold, if a wonderfully snarky attitude at times. She is not found of the playboy vet, as Tim is known. But one Saturday evening when she and her brother find two days old kitten fighting for their life Tim is the vet she trusts to call. While they lose Princess, Al, her brother is a fighter and hangs on. Tim is impressed with how much time and effort Cindy is willing to put into the care and raising of the little guy. They are drawn closer as they care for little Al, and as Mike - Tim's best friend and the fincee of Cindy's best friend - warns Tim away from Cindy because she a good girl (one you marry - not have one night stands with) Tim can't keep his distance from the fiesty blond.

Great story of love,self-image, society's image and defeating your fmily's image of what you are supposed to be. A mst read fun romance.
