17-year-old Cathy tries hard to like everything about her new town, new school, new step-father, and new step-brother. But when a young boy shows up in her yard and her step-brother, Blake, violently reacts to him, Cathy realizes that strange things are happening all around her. She confides in her new friend/boyfriend, Rich, yet he has a hard time believing her.

As Blake's sinister side becomes more apparent, Cathy turns to the young boy--who calls himself Bunny--for answers. What Bunny tells her is beyond comprehension--that Blake is not what he seems--in fact, Blake is the very appearance of evil.

Cathy finds herself not only battling for her own life, but for her own family's, as well as spirits gone before.

This debut novel by Luisa Perkins is full of dark twists, plenty of suspense, and will keep you turning pages long into the night.
