A great story written by a heroic and legendary young man who left the life as a Texas cowboy to sign up to become a Navy SEAL; and as a sailor went on to become the most successful sniper in American military history. Chris Kyle tells an intriguing story about his years as a sniper in Iraq where through his successes he without a doubt saved numerous lives, especially those of other American servicemen.

Chris Kyle's story is intense, but has it has its moments with humor and compassion, not only for his wife back home who lived in fear for his safety, but also for his comrades in arms, his fellow SEALS. The book also helps put into perspective for the reader the timing and the placement of many of the battles that took place in Iraq that we may have heard about on TV or read in the papers; for the most part, Chris Kyle was there and very much an integral part of the ensuing battles.

I wish Chris much success in his new careers.
