This short compilation was definitely a different style from the other books in the series. It switches Point of View between Gin Blanco (the normal MC and PoV character) to a couple of other characters. The other characters are a villain who could potentially play a large role in a future story, and a crime boss who may become an ally someday. At least I hope so. The switching of Point of View was definitely something that I found unusual and jarring, setting this book apart from the others in this series. The other books all center in Gin, and they make for great reading.
