** spoiler alert ** Fforde has done it again. He is my favorite author. I have LOVED every single one of his books. They are masterfully written and by the time you get to the end you want the next installment, right then. My favorite part of this book was the creation of a minor character Pippa, written solely as the avenue to tell a joke using the Peter Piper tongue twister. It is so magnificently done that you don't even realize it's all a joke until the punch line is told. So very funny. AND then Fforde has Jack Spratt make fun of him for doing it. Brilliant. Bring on the next Nursery Rhyme crime!!
