Synopsis: Leaving her old life in New York after her Aunt dies, Tessa Gray moves to England to the only family she has left, her older brother Nate. When she arrived she expected to be taken away from all the hurt she had gone through, but what faces her she never imagined. Instead of finding her brother she is taken from two women named the Dark Sisters and is forced to use a power she herself didn't know she had. With the help of her new friends, mysterious Will and kind-sweet Jace, she must face who she really is and the world she was meant to be in.

Review: Cassandra Clare's book was perfect and had everything that a book needs to catch a readers attention. I thought the book was very intriguing and found myself into the night turning the pages to see what Tessa would face next. The overall suspense of the story kept me on my feet the entire time. This book is a good read for anyone who wants to go into a world of fantasy and I would recommend it to anyone interested.
