** spoiler alert ** I have to say, I had very little hope in this book. The summery on the back of the book doesn't do it justice. I was thinking, Oh, goodness, here we go with questionable identities and love triangles. It may have that in it, but I never got annoyed with any of that. The whole mystery of what Kylie is was an adventure and, though I didn't like the way she treated the people at Shadow Falls that were trying to be her friends, I had to step back and ask myself how I would have handled it. All I kept coming to was indeed the same things that Kylie did. Della is such a sensitive vampire and a total hypocrite to Kylie. When Kylie was disgusted by blood and wanted nothing to do with it Della should have understood because she reacted the same way towards ghosts and Kylie's ability. I never understood why Kylie didn't just say that to Della. And Miranda is a witch! What kind of witch is scared of ghosts? Witches are supposed to be more spiritual than that. Blehh...anyways! Derek and Lucas are both really sweet but in the end I think she will end up with Lucas because he shares a past with Kylie and Derek reminds her too much of Trey to be anything more than a friend. I could be wrong but I'm just thinking psychologically.

Lots of drama in Kylie's life and too much for me to address so I'm just going to read Awake at Dawn now...
