Joe Ledger and Echo Team are back in Maberrys 4th. Installment.
After rescuing a group of college kids being held prisoner in Iran,Joe learns of several nuclear devices hidden across the mideast and is asked to locate them by the Iranian government. Joe with the help of a beautiful, but lethal assassin named Violin set out to find them, along with his faithful and deadly sidekick,Ghost. But this time Joe and EchoTeam learn a whole new meaning to the word,Assassin! Joe has vital information on a disc that must reach Mr Church and the rest of the DMS. The fate of the whole human race depends on it. This is the best one Maberry has wrote yet! ( if you can believe that). I mean there is this ancient order. A brotherhood of genetically enhanced,BLOOGTHIRSTY killers that will do anything from being discovered. This book was a real treat. Lots of suprises in this one! From an old enemy. A new enemy. You really get to see what Joe Ledger is capable of when hes up against the wall! Ive read them all,and Maberry always brings his A-GAME,but this one has raised the bar!! The bad guys in Assassins Code scared the hell out of me,and I thought about them long after I was finished! So will you! Plus you get to see some awesome things from Mr. Church! This is part of a series, but it can easily be read as a stand alone novel, then You have the opportunity to check out Patient Zero,Dragon Factory, and King of Plagues! Dont Pass this Up ! Get ready to lose some sleep!!
