The Sins of the Father
by Jeffrey Archer
by Jeffrey Archer
This sequel in Clifton Chronicles by all means is as addictive as its predecessor. It picks up from exact point where the last one ended. Harry Clifton takes identity of Tom Bradshaw and tricked by Manhattan’s top lawyer ends up in prison for 6 years sentence. Emma on other end has given birth to Harry’s son Sebastian and refuses to accept that Harry got buried in sea. With little proof in hand and sky high faith, she travels all the way to New York with determination to get Harry back on all costs. Massie continues to be as strong as ever and on other end Hugo is still a jerk.
Thing I like most is when it comes to pace and characters there is very little that has changed from first book and gives a feeling as if one has continued reading same book after an interval rather than a sequel. Archer's way of switching view points throughout the book is quite unique and in some way interesting. Definitely a page turner and can’t wait to put my hands on next in line.
