Read from March 29 to April 02, 2012
When I read book one in this trilogy, I was TORN... Erica is a blog-friend, so I really wanted to like it, but was afraid if I didn't. I needn't have worried. TORN was excellent.
And now, I am completely TANGLED up in the world of book two! Through this story Mo has grown, with a new sense of purpose and identity. I have to find out how it all ends up... I'm BOUND to read book three when it comes out! :)
The character development in this series really is excellent. When you find yourself rooting for the MC, and trying to sort out her love life for her, you know the author has done a great job making the characters real. And the interplay of school, magic, and Mafia keep the story moving and the interest level to a salivating pitch. Great job, Erica! :)
