Kids whose parents are not married always seem to have the fantasy that their parents will somehow end up loving each other and together. This is a work of fiction, so of course, Sean and Franci will work everything out. Cute story but, I really liked the story of Sean’s mom Maureen better. Mo is tough mom of 5 adult sons, but I love her vulnerability. The way she blossoms endears me to her. It was nice to see someone write love story that the beginning isn’t focusing on starting a new family, but rather sharing lives, families, friends and building onto the life you have. And. Well .If you can toss in a little passion too… nothing is bland in Virgin River.
