I hadn't read one of "A Bed-and Breakfast Mystery" for a while but was hoping that this one would be good, as I had remembered the last ones were. However, the cousin banter thing going on was so annoying that I wondered if I had just dismissed it before. In fact the banter seemed to be the main ingredient in this book. I have to say I'm really getting to the point that when a series starts to go bad, I put the book down and cross the author off my list. Maybe book series should end gracefully after about 5 books. Leave the readers praising instead of cringing. The mystery should be of most importance not the gimmicks used.
