it was amazing
bookshelves: all-about-me, animals, bugs, science, rhyming, emotions-feelings

I really liked this book. This is a great book to add to an all about me theme. The illustrations in this book are colorful and look so realistic with all of the detail in them. This book is also a great introduction to adjectives. There is an adjective on every page of this book. I also like how this book introduces many new bugs and animals that some children may not yeat know and describes each on with on word.

Extension Activity: After reading this book once, I will read it a second time allowing the children to join me in doing the actions along with the book. For example, for as slow as a snail, I will allow the children to scoot slowly on the carper, or for as quiet as a clam, we will place our finger over our mouth, and so on.
