This really is a heartbreaking work of staggering genius but don't let that intimidate you. Its also funny and sweet and relatable. The author lost his parents when he was 22 and he gained custody of his 8 year old brother. This is his personal account of their new life together in San Francisco not sparing the painful memory of the life they lost in suburban Chicago. Its also a great tribute to the early nineties. I loved this book. Give it a go.
