it was amazing
bookshelves: women-s-fiction

I was pulled into this story from the very beginning. The main character, Olivia, was so believable and warm spirited that I alternately cheered for her and mourned for her.
When the author changed tracks to showcase Ethan Allen's story, I was riveted. She captured beautifully the heart ache, and disillusionment that the poor child must have felt growing up in such a way and experiencing the things he did.
Ms. Crosby, expertly wove the threads of the story together in such a way that I couldn't put the book down. She had me turning the pages quickly, ready to see what happened next.
I LOVED this story. Highly recommend.
