** spoiler alert ** 4.5 Stars!

I really, really, really enjoyed this read. Rich business man, and English Duke, living in Malibu needs to fulfill his father's requirement from his will to be married and Blake looks past his two mistresses to a match maker, Samantha for help. But instead of accepting any of her recommendations, he offers marriage for one year to Sam.

He dangles a carrot in front of her: a trust fund to care for her sister who had a stroke after a failed suicide attempt and is need of expensive nursing care. Sam takes on Blake, how can she say no to such a wonderful offer.....never having to worry about Jordan, her sister? All for one year of her life.

What is so wonderful right off the bat is their honestly and ease of being in each others company. Not only do the characters feel it but the readers too. When a relationship is comfortable and you can be open and honest....you feel good about it. Now add the fact that these two are physically drawn to each other and you have a story.

I felt Sam worry as she felt her self falling more and more for this man wondering how she would be able to walk away from him at the end of a year. I got to see Blake find he missed Sam and wanted her around more and more and wonder to himself how that could be? They really fit together a couple and enjoyed themselves. They really had to work hard to convince everyone that their relationship was real...and as it became easier and easier to convince everyone...it became harder to figure out where the "fake? marriage ended and the "real" relationship began.

I won't say much more for fear of giving away the story but this was a nice, fun, satisfying, emotional read.
