WOW! What a story! I loved the characters and the unique twists and turns in their relationships. The book had secrets.... dream tellers.... mystery...hard choices.... joy... disaster... and that very special flavor that only Chitra's books have. By the end I found myself wondering- would I want my journals of personal moments/ thoughts and dreams read after I have passed I think in the case of the characters in this situation they were able to go on after the mother died because the journals opened doors of ommunication and understanding for those left behind, They helped the father and the daughter forge a strong connection BUT... maybe it just opened the door. The real bond came in trying to save the chai house... in those shared moments of doing something important together.

I highly recommend this book! I hope you enjoy the magic of the astory as much as I did!
