Everyone thinks the quarterback has to be a leader on a football team. But does a leader have to be a quarterback? And does being a quarterback make you a leader? Mike Lupica is back with his best book since "Heat", doing what he does best, reminding all of us why we love the game.

Ms. Yingling This book was helpful to me in understanding the emotional connection that boys have to football. I really didn't get it until I read this book.

Michael Wow, that says an awful lot about what makes Lupica so good. Its hard to imagine another sports writer doing that for you. I just love how he connects with "small" sports, kids playing for the love of the game.
