Chatty, chick-litty, lighthearted. I wouldn't call it shallow; it seems more optimistic. If the joy she conveys in her book is genuine and real, she's a very blessed lady and I hope to be more like her.
Some of her tips reflect a different background--I really doubt most stay-at-home moms could afford to hire help for housecleaning just so they have time for the more fun aspects of the vocation we share. Others she definitely has a point on regardless of income, like taking care of yourself. A happier, cared-for mother is a better one.

Not going to change my life but I don't feel it was a waste of time either.
