I've been devouring Thea Harrison's Elder Races novels since Dragon Bound came out and her latest novella, Natural Evil, did not disappoint. The heroine is forty and a retired Special Forces Major who can kick ass with the best of them. The hero is younger, tall and incredibly hot! They make a great pair.

I love the heroine's take charge attitude and the hero's determination to stay alive and get the job done.

One of the things I like best about Thea's writing is her ability to immerse me completely into the world she's created. The world of the Elder Races is completely believable - I want to move there!
