it was amazing

Fantastic book. I am not a religious person at all, but the spirituality of this book completely won me over. I could also really relate to the author, a lapsed academic who is forced, through her pregnancy and the birth of her son, to see things in a very non-academic light. The most amazing part of the book for me was how Martha Beck had to re-envision herself: what she believed, what kind of person she was. And even though she herself doesn't completely believe in the events that are happening to her as she prepares to give birth, I as the reader completely bought everything.
