** spoiler alert ** I was hoping for more, somehow. I really like most of the works of Eliopoulos, but this one read like the bad parts of a script for a Power Puff Girls episode. Part of my problem with the story was the artwork, which was not his best work. Another part was the bizarrely flawed logic of the story. The baking robot fails for reasons that never do tell us whether it would have worked, if used correctly. The idea of chocolate fish donuts almost makes up for this plot hole, but not quite.
I did think the opening sequence was cute, a singing commercial for the donut shop. The basic lesson, that food made with love is better than food made by machine, is also good, but I wish the story actually supported that lesson.
