Long story short, the things in most of the food in our supermarket shelves are bad for us! The fresher the better. The way we gain and lose weight is NOT just a matter of how many calories we eat and how many calories we burn... it also has to do with the state of our metabolisms and the kinds of foods we consume (particularly certain ingredients and additives, ESPECIALLY high fructose corn syrup, which is in so much of what we eat!) We are programmed to process ONLY fresh, whole foods like our ancestors did before the age of industrialization basically. It totally changed the way I look at what I put into my body and as a result, I've totally revamped my eating habits and I've never felt better!
