Genre: Realistic Fiction (Fiction)

Fountas and Pinnell Reading Level: M

Summary: Ivy lives across the street from Bean, but she looks too boring to be good friend material. But, one day when Bean is trying to play a trick on her sister Nancy, she needs Ivy's help and the two begin a witchy adventure to cast a spell on Nancy. This hilarious book with fantastic pictures will keep you laughing until the end.

Why I Liked/Disliked the Book: The pictures show the funniest looks on the girls' faces. Towards the end of the book, Bean really gets Nancy good.

What This Book Made Me Think About: How sisters can be so mean to each other, and how it can seem so funny to someone who is not in the family (like the reader).
