bookshelves: failed-attempt

Put it in my "failed attempt" category because I didn't read it all. I didn't read it all because it got to the point where I wasn't - maxed out 401(k)-esque contributions, max Roth IRA, some X amount of liquid savings. I guess this isn't the greatest book to read until you have money you don't really know what to do with, or else a lot of the chapters aren't very pertinent and the information might change by the time you do get to that point.

I did learn though that a penny saved is more than a penny earned at work, due to taxes. So depending on your goals, saving money might be more effective than working overtime. Also the virtue in hoarding things in bulk...beating inflation and saving money...but that doesn't seem to work until you have a house to store it all in. =P
