4.5 stars. Ok, so maybe I shouldn't have given it a five stars rating but this book made me happy. Like, so so freaking happy that I bumped it up from 4 to 5 stars because of FEELINGS. I will admit, that it has been ages since I've read the first three of the Heather Wells novels but I had no problems jumping back in with this one and getting back with Heather and Cooper and Fischer Hall and murder and mayhem and all that foolishness. And now it was complete with more family, murder and fifty teenage girls which made it all the better. Heather Wells always makes me happy. And Heather plus Cooper makes me even more happier. ALWAYS. This is a perfect summer/winter/spring/fall read. An anytime read, really. It leaves you happy (Yes, I know. I've mentioned the word happy like five times now. Shoot me ((just, not in Death Dorm, ok? Let's give Heather a break)).
Sidenote: Cannot wait for the next installment out next year. Size 12 Is the New Black!

I'M SORRY LOVE (I'm about halfway through right now, and loving it so far. I have missed Heather and Cooper!)
Right? It just left me grinning as I closed the last page so I gave it five stars. I'm easssyyyyyyy to please. ♥
I am excited! I have been missing her contemporary stuff.PS: You'll "appreciate" this. So I worked this morning and first thing, THE CATALOG IS DOWN. Can't access patron accounts, can't print off hold slips, etc! (It's fine now. I suppose it was only down for 30 minutes or so, but I DO NOT HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT'S A FAIRLY IMPORTANT RESOURCE.)
Yeah, me too.And ugh. That is awful. I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS. It usually happens for us after we have been closed for a few days for a holiday because everything is now due all in that day and people haven't been able to come in and check things out are now coming in and the system just FREAKS OUT and shuts down and it's awful. Especially because when it comes back up I'm one of the people who have to go in with the manual checkouts and checkout to people and there is always at least one or two patrons with $50+ dollars in fines that took twenty items and we have to override it and check them out because they already have the items out of the library. I swear, these people know when the catalog is down.
UGH, that sucks! I didn't catch all of the details, but it sounds like this was at the vendor's end. And, fortunately, this was before the branches open (Help Desk gets in there 2 hours before they open on weekdays), so we didn't have to deal with that. And it was early enough that we only had two calls from patrons trying to access the catalog from home, so, REALLY, we probably got off easy.
