Written by Franz Lidz, an account of his own life with uncles, one of whom was a hoarder like the Colyer brothers of that time.
This account was very enjoyable and had lots of history of New York city from 1897 until after the death of both the Colyers and Franz's own uncles and other family members. How places like Hell's Kitchen", "San Juan Hill", etc. became to be with all the migration of the many races and nationalities moving into these locations.
