Randi's work is delightful. He's been performing a public service for decades by offering up scientific tests to charlatans, in order not to allow them to run about uncontested. Flim-Flam came out in 1988 but it's still quite relevant today. Some of the things he debunks are sadly still around, others like "biorhythms" have vanished into the nonsense aether. But the "unsinkable rubber ducks" keep coming. This book details a lot of experiments and outlines the protocols very well. And it shows just how little has changed in the world of paranormal con-artists.
