it was amazing

This was an unexpected gem; an autobiography by a novelist famed for navajo-themed mysteries. Mr Hillerman speaks unflinchingly of his WW2 experience an an infantry grunt in Vosges (France)which more or less reveals why nobody's dad who came back from that war ever really talked about what happened over there.
