Carol I'm so curious to know what you liked about the book - can you share? I might want to read it - Carol

Katie I really liked it! It was interesting, as my dad's family is French and once in a while I read something and thought "oh, that's why grandpa always did that.."
The book does a good job of showing how both French and American parenting styles and beliefs could be combined- each one learning from the other. The parts about food/eating were the most fascinating. Let me know if you read it!

Carol I have heard about the French approach to food and eating and it is so different from ours. I was thinking that from birth we are told to feed on demand, and that kind of continues. I would like to read the book but I'm afraid I will regret some of my choices - it's so hard sometimes to know the right thing to do as a parent! I'll let you know if I read the book...
