This book works with the premise that children from newborn to the age of two develop mentally in certain leaps and details such 10 leaps in those two years.
Each chapter both details a new leap and shows what signs to look out for, what new stuff the child is learning and understanding, quotes from parents going through this period and what you can do to help your child through this and what games the child will probably like.
I really liked this book and I think it will be a big help in understanding what's going on during these two years. The only problem with this book is that it repeats itself a lot! Some of it is probably due to it's not written to be read from cover to cover but more as a go to book whenever a new leap occurs - but even in each chapter, the authors repeats themselves and even quotes from parents are used more than once and that annoyed me a lot. But aside from this, I found it both interesting and I look at it as a future life-saver!!!
